Volunteerism can be fun with the SDWS

mary ann roders.Congrats to Mary Ann Rogers for being the volunteer of the month of brucestweartApril. She has endless energy and is always there when needed. Bruce Swart is this month’s hero. Congratulations Bruce, who has been selected as our Volunteer of the Month for May 2016!  Besides being an amazing artist, Bruce finds time to help SDWS whenever asked, whether it’s hanging paintings for our shows or helping with various events.  His positive attitude and congeniality make it a pleasure for everyone to work with him.  He is a great example of SDWS volunteerism at its finest! So, this is a reminder that SDWS is an all-volunteer organization, even my job is a volunteer job for the SDWS.

Because of its talented members and their generosity in volunteering many hours to do the work required, SDWS has become an outstanding member of the arts community.  If you are one of the volunteers, thank you!

If you have not yet volunteered, we’d like very much to have you join us!  Contact Gay Weston, Volunteer Director, at volunteerdirector@sdws.org and she will help you identify a spot where you can help.
