Tips on shows to enter here there and every where

March 11, on a sunny day, Shuang Li returns to take us on a plain air ride. Shuang is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society, NWS,  and the San Diego Watercolor Society, SDWS!

Shuang Li follows the traditional “En Plein Air” impressionism in her paintings.  She paints primarily on location but also in her studio.  Her main objective is to recreate nature’s beauty by capturing the mood and color of a scene and to seize the light!  Shaung’s landscapes are rich in color, mood, atmosphere and action! Every time we have her demo it is like taking a workshop.  She has the ability to share the secrets of watercolor and enjoys doing so to help all of us succeed in our journey as artists.

Our paintout is going to be located at Kit Carson Park in Escondido.   The address is, 3333 Bear Valley Pkwy, Escondido. Bring a sack lunch and picnic with your paint!

Directions to Kit Carson Park–Take I-15 North to Escondido.  Take exit 27 that is Via Rancho Pkwy and turn Right onto E Via Rancho Pkwy.  Continue onto Bear Valley Pkwy.  Turn Left onto Amphitheater Drive.  Continue straight onto Entrance Drive.

Put your paint, brushes, and paper in the car the night before and come join us at the paintout!  Beautiful days are meant to be enjoyed and you can’t do that doing housework or chores–all that can wait, no excuses!  All levels of artist are welcomed and encouraged to attend.  The demo starts promptly at 9am with the critique at 12:30
