Spring sprung- so we shall too

SPRING Extra special paintout- these photos are from a few years ago when Chuck introduced us to this special garden spot!

Saturday, April 29!  We will be at the
Cuyamaca College Water Conservation Garden during the Spring Garden Festival and the Butterfly Festival, providing us countless ideas for painting.    The garden has gotten better every year as the water wise plants and flowers flourish.  The rains we had this year also had a major effect on all that blooms.   As a special treat the garden plans on a butterfly release during the day to float color in the sky!  Bring your lunch and plan to spend the day painting and enjoying the festival.  Invite your artist friends too as it’s a lot of fun and a great way to spend a San Diego Spring day!  We will be at the NEW Gazebo located near the front entrance.
Popular demo artist, Chuck McPherson returns after a long hiatus.  Chuck graduated from San Diego State University with a BA in Graphic Communication and a minor in Journalism.  He then went on to Pasadena’s Art Center College of Design. Chuck is an artist’s artist, sharing what he knows to inspire fellow artists on their journey in watercolor and art.  Teaching confidence is his goal and he has endless information about painting secrets PLUS what is required for a great framing presentation, marketing, and pricing artwork. His demos are very entertaining and loaded with useful information. Chuck has signature status in NWS, WFWS and SDWS!  To find out more about Chuck McPherson just Google his name.
