Help us raise moola for the International Exhibition! Pick up plenty of opportunities for the drawing and help us out.

A fabulous way to get rid of the old and grab some new fabulous art stuff will be a reality at the next General Meeting, Sept. 9, 2014. We are also voting for our officers so we need everyone to come and enjoy a full evening of fun and hopefully some profit.

We are having an “Art Materials Exchange” and  just think, you can benefit from someone else’s over spending! And of course, you too can get rid of some of your discarded art materials, magazines and books, (and frames and whatever you are willing to bring to make someone else’s life easier and more enriched and it is FREE stuff!) So clean out a closet or drawer or your private cache all or even your art studio and gather your lightly used art supplies and books for exchange, (or if possible,  make a donation to SDWS because next month we are throwing an International preview party).

On top of that- and most important- we are selling opportunities to win the drawing for this fabulous painting. That is what is in “store” for our members. Some lucky person will own a very special piece of art by one of our favorite members, Shuang Li. These donation tickets are for the International Exhibition and it is really important that we have loads of ticket sales in order to sponsor this enormous  undertaking and special event. We are so lucky to have this painting to give one lucky person and we all owe a huge thanks to the generosity of Shuang so that the International Exhibition preview will be a great success.

So good luck everyone and remember the more tickets you purchase, the better your chances of being part of this extraordinary activity that we are really so honored to have in San Diego.
